Einerseits entspringt das Thema meiner persönlichen Motivation dafür, gleichzeitig stellte sich die Sichtung und Beschäftigung bereits vorhandener Literatur als höchst lohnenswert heraus. Auffällig hierbei battle, dass es zum konkreten Thema wenig bis keine personzentrierte Primärliteratur gab. Nach anfänglichem Zögern entschied ich mich dennoch, mich in die Materie zu vertiefen und einen integrativen, personzentrierten tieferen Blick darauf zu werfen. Nicht zuletzt, weil ich herausfand, dass Frank Farrelly, der Begründer der "Provokativen Therapie" , welche wiederum stark mit Humor arbeitet, seine ursprüngliche therapeutische Ausbildung bei Carl Rogers erhielt.

Und schließlich erscheint der Sinn für Humor als wünschenswertes Charakteristikum für Personen, die sich zu Therapeuten ausbilden lassen, sogar in Rogers "klientenzentrierter Gesprächspsychotherapie“.
